Your dream kitchen in 7 simple steps
STEP 1 PROJECT TYPE AND BUDGET A solid foundation is key to any building project. The first step in any kitchen project is for you to share your vision. If you are not quite sure what that vision is we are here to guide you. Through dialog, we will determine your design style and what products will best suite your lifestyle. Second, is for you to share your budget. We can work together to create a design that is functional and checks all your boxes without breaking the bank. STEP 2 ON SITE CONSULTATION Once we have walked you through the process and explain the various types of materials and starting costs , we will then schedule a site visit. We do charge a small fee based on travel distance. If you proceed with the project, 100% of this fee is credited to your final invoice. If you do not proceed with the project, the fee is not refunded. During our onsite visit, we will take measurements and gather the necessary information required to provide you with a quotation. We may take pictures and videos for us to use as reference later on. At the end of the consultation we will be able to provide a “ball park” quote. This will be a rough estimate and is not necessarily the final price . STEP 3 QUOTATION AND DESIGN DRAWINGS After receiving the “ball park” quote, the customer can decide if they would like to proceed to the next step. The next step would be for us to produce a drawing and rendering of the customer’s space. Using all the information we gathered during consultation, we will produce design floor plans, elevations and beautiful 3D renderings so the customer can have a visual of what the build will look like. It is at this point, that we can give you an exact cost. It can take many hours to design a fully custom kitchen to the customers specifications so for this service we do charge a design fee. If the project moves forward the design fee is credited to the final invoice. STEP 4 SERVICE AGREEMENT Now that you know the final cost, it is time to sign off on your design and make a deposit. We require a 60% deposit to start all custom projects. We accept cash, debit/credit cards, direct deposit and wire transfers. You will be required to sign a copy of our service agreement and will be given an estimated completion date. STEP 5 THE BUILDING PROCESS We source your materials and begin the building process ASAP. Depending on the project, we may need to do a second site visit. During this visit, we would confirm all the measurements on our drawings and ensure that they are accurate. Some projects may require items to be build onsite. In these cases, we work closely with the customer to make the process as convenient as possible. STEP 6 INSTALLATION Installation is the most anticipated day. This is the day that all the renderings, drawings and hard work come to life in your space. Depending on the project size, install can usually be done in one day but could lead to multiple days on larger projects. In preparation for installation, we ask that the area be cleared as much as possible and appliances, furniture etc. be covered to protect them for dust and debris. Existing cabinets need to be removed prior to installation day. Please contact us if you require any assistance with preparing the space. STEP 7 POST INSTALLATION FOLLOW UP We like to hear your feedback! We will do a follow up call one week after your installation to make sure that you are satisfied with the product and to conduct a customer satisfaction survey. If you have any concerns we will be more than happy to assist you. Our cabinets are backed with a one year manufacturer's warranty!
